About the Project

Seazone is a classical SaaS application for charter yacht management aimed to simplify complex procedures around fleet serving. The app is primarily oriented towards the B2B segment. Now 100+ companies use it daily to cover boat management processes, as well as choose from reliable product suppliers and over 30 000 registered crew members.

Despite its full-fledged functioning on prod, IDAP developers continue to enrich the app with various modules to build one-stop-shop for yacht management.

Product Idea

The initial idea was to create an application for Managerial Accounting. Fleet management is complicated and costly. It requires businesses to perform total control over various expenses such as taxes, service charges, crew wages, etc. To simplify these processes, companies need one environment illustrating the bigger picture. Therefore, the application was turned from a tiny product to a robust fleet management platform.

Key Features

01Finance

Seazone enables users to control expenses by getting accurate financial reports. Businesses can work with boat financial data, set budgets, and shadow their fulfillment with card and cash statements in various currencies, such as USD, EUR, TRY, GPB, HRK, etc.

02Tech Maintenance

Tech maintenance includes several sections supporting yacht operation. A list of boat systems and checklists helps the crew navigate on board and perform compulsory procedures defined by maritime legislation. A task management module with customizable dashboards makes processes transparent. The built-in inventory management system illustrates the availability of furniture, kitchen appliances, beverages, food, etc.

03Boat profile

The boat profile feature helps users get complete information about each yacht registered in the system: its documents, general data such as brand, built year, crew, number of cabins, the maximum number of guests, etc. The module allows defining an accurate yacht location (AIS boat position) in one click.

04Fleet management

Businesses use this feature to manage boats they have in fleets. Seazone fleet management aims to systemize data about each yacht. Businesses can easily define boats' availability, location, weather condition, general expenses divided into categories, etc.

05Search

This feature helps users apply Seazone as a business development platform. The application contains a fast-growing base of highly-experienced crew members and reliable suppliers supporting boat operations. Businesses can choose the most suitable ones to perform smooth boat management.
