The "Help My Truck" app is a comprehensive tool designed for truck drivers, mechanics, and fleet owners, helping them manage maintenance and troubleshoot issues with their trucks. It focuses on providing users with repair solutions for trucks across the United States

Project idea

Develop a mobile application called "Help MyTruck", to offer truck drivers, mechanics, and fleet managers a repair assistance platform. The solution is designed for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing through a highly interactive interface, leveraging real-time fault code diagnostics and step-by-step repair guides.

Project challenges

Developing the app for iOS and Android platforms introduces complications due to different system requirements, design principles, and API integrations. As the app grows in popularity, it will have to scale efficiently without compromising performance. This includes handling a growing number of users, fault codes, and content contributions.

Results

Truck owners, drivers, and mechanics can now diagnose and resolve vehicle issues faster with the help of real-time fault code detection and accurate repair guides. It significantly reduces downtime and improves operational efficiency for truck fleets and independent drivers. It drastically reduces the repair and service costs because drivers can fix the problem themselves.

Challenges and solutions

• Client had the limited budget. And at the same time he had to manage lots of content, including media. We proposed Contentful as the content management system instead of developing the custom CMS. It let us meet the budget.

• Cross-platform solution on Flutter decreases the costs compared to the Native app development. When choosing Cross-platform we always take into consideration the complexity of logic. In this case it was rather simple, and that’s why the cross-platform was a perfect choice.
