About the Project

Raptor is a macOS application that simplifies the filming production process for the entire team, including operators and film editors. When working on the product, they usually use several screens where part of the process is translated into a matrix as a binary code. Raptor processes the result to ensure the proper stream and picture.

Project idea

The company operating in Hollywood decided to boost the film production industry by introducing Raptor capable of streamlining the film creation process. Raptor is a classic SaaS product available on a subscription basis. Currently, the IDAP team is close to the 1.0 version release.

Project challenges

Optimization of streams. The number of streams should be broader than the libraries’ used capacity ensures.

01Streaming

This feature provides a smooth streaming process from the client’s server to simplify film editing and achieve results faster by avoiding manual work.

02Fake video/audio binaries

The application helps out in case of the absence of any video or audio needed allowing users to replace them with fake analogs and built-in them seamlessly.

03Watermarks

The functionality protects intellectual property rights with unique commercial watermarks.

04Asset management

Raptor helps film production companies manage product versions and streams. Users can define the number of streams broadcasted, control how many streams are connected, perform their authorization and filtering.
