About the Project

River Mall is a huge shopping mall in Kyiv, Ukraine, with tons of brands, shops, and restaurants. The team came to IDAP with very clear ambitions for the center. Most importantly, they wanted to go “all-in” on digitalization and offer their customers a seamless shopping experience. Furthermore, they wanted to focus more on navigation and walk their customers through parking lots to their favorite shops in a few clicks.

Results

We built a trendy app for the shopping mall to curate special deals and offers, ease navigation, and simplify parking payments. The aim was to provide customers with on-the-go updates, interactive navigation, and parking guidance. And we did that!

Key Features

01On-the-go updates

Without push notifications, users won’t miss any special offers and great sales. As a result, River Mall can notify its customers about any upcoming events, special offers, and hot deals that lead to more visitors and more sales.

02List of shops and restaurants

Users can easily search for whatever they need. All 250 brands, stores, and restaurants are organized into an interactive catalog. River Mall offers an enhanced shopping experience for every visitor.

03Map

The in-app map can help users build optimum shopping routes and visit all their favorite shops. With the app, users can customize their experience with turn-by-turn directions inside a mall. For parents with a stroller, the app can help select a route using elevators or escalators.

04Parking

The River Mall app is integrated with the parking system of the mall. Thanks to proximity beacons, the app allows for accurate location tracking and routing. To streamline the parking experience, the app has a built-in payment system that allows users to pay for parking in a few taps.
