Innovative Browser Extension by IDAP Wins 5th Place at EducateHacks Hackathon 2023

Attention-attention! IDAP has done it again! We are proud to announce that our team has won the coveted 5th prize at this year’s EducateHacks hackathon, the ultimate competition for student tech enthusiasts!

With a whopping 680 participants and 85 solutions, the competition was fierce. However, our team rose to the challenge and emerged victorious with our innovative, game-changing solution.

Meet Groundbreaking Browser Extension

The IDAP team created a one-of-a-kind browser extension that analyzes web pages and provides users with relevant answers to their questions based on copies read. Thanks to the seamless synergy of our frontend, server part, and Chat GPT API, the specialists involved were able to develop this cutting-edge solution in just three days.

Our team comprised five talented individuals, including our iOS Lead and the mastermind behind this project, a skilled Project Manager who organized the entire process flawlessly. And let’s not forget our incredible Frontend Lead and two Frontend Developers who created a user-friendly frontend.

According to Bogdan Kikacheishvili, iOS Lead, the browser extension is a must-have for students working with vast amounts of data.

“Our solution aims to save time and provide relevant answers to questions that need to be covered. Sometimes people have to process too much information to get a few sentences of needed data and build their academic copies based on it. Unfortunately, a 100-page pdf file does not always contain all the information the particular reader needs.”

We understand the importance of our solution and its impact on the student community. That’s why IDAP decided to make an open-source version available on GitHub.

Bogdan Kikacheishvili states, “We need to make innovation accessible for students since we drive the progress in such an important niche.”

The IDAP team is thrilled about our win and the talented individuals who made it all possible. We’re already gearing up for our next project and can’t wait to share it. So stay tuned for more impressive announcements from IDAP!
